The Duke of York launched Pitch@Palace 6.0 applications and the StartUp Britain Tour at Buckingham Palace on 15th June, 2016.
The StartUp Britain Tour promotes Entrepreneurship across the United Kingdom and enables Entrepreneurs to receive business advice from local experts. Pitch@Palace 6.0 information will be available onboard throughout the StartUp Britain Tour, with the aim of promoting applications from across the UK.
His Royal Highness founded Pitch@Palace to support Entrepreneurs with the amplification and acceleration of their business ideas.
The theme for Pitch@Palace 6.0 is Technology.
During the launch, The Duke met with Pitch@Palace Alumni from Pitch@Palace 4.0 and Pitch@Palace 5.0. Pitch@Palace supporters and key business influencers also attended the event.
Oli Barrett, Co-founder, StartUp Britain, said “It is great to see so many Pitch@Palace Alumni here today. You are the change makers and the problem solvers.”
HRH said “There is no barrier to being an Entrepreneur. Anyone of any age can have an idea.”
Later, The Duke of York hosted a Pitch@Palace Entrepreneur Showcase to celebrate the achievements of Pitch@Palace Alumni in the past year.
