Big Bang Fair 2016

The Duke of York, Patron of Young Engineers, attended the Big Bang Fair 2016 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on 17th March, 2016. The Big Bang Fair is a national celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for young people in the UK.

During the visit, His Royal Highness met with students benefiting from the Young Engineers Mentoring Programme and viewed projects of work from schools competing in the Young Engineers School of the Year.

Young Engineers is a UK based educational charity that promotes engineering and encourages young people to study STEM subjects. The Duke became Patron of the Young Engineers in 1994.

His Royal Highness viewed projects of work from Emmanuel College, Highgate School, Midhurst Rother School, Roseberry School and Sutton Grammar School before presenting awards to students.
