The Duke of York’s speech to Renewable Energy Systems in Kings Langley, 22 February 2007
There is a huge amount of work that not only that you have done, but that is going on in – as you call yourselves – clean, green energy. And I am most impressed with what I have seen today and I would like to wish you every continued success in not only the research you are doing into forms of efficient use of energy, but also into what you are doing in the wind farms area – of actually producing it.
So thank you very much indeed for the opportunity to come here and I will now know for certain what the wind turbine is on the M25! … having asked myself on a number of occasions what on earth is that doing there and why!
I wish you all continued success in your endeavours not only here in the UK but globally.
