TeenTech Awards 2015

The Duke of York attended the TeenTech Awards 2015 at the Royal Society on 22nd June, 2015.

TeenTech runs events and an Award scheme to help young people see the wide range of career possibilities in Science, Engineering and Technology. The TeenTech Awards are for UK students aged from 11-18, working in teams of up to three, to look at problems and find solutions.

HRH had the opportunity to meet with finalists from the categories listed below:

  • Consumer Innovation
  • Health
  • Future of Food
  • Retail & Finance
  • Safety and Security
  • Environment and infrastructure
  • International Collaboration and Digital Skills
  • Transport and Energy

After presenting the finalists with prizes, The Duke surprised Maggie Philbin, Founder of TeenTech with a Birthday Cake!
