During the financial year 2010/11 The Duke of York undertook 619 official engagements

This included 468 engagements in his capacity as Special Representative for International Trade and Investment

As Special Representative, The Duke undertook 244 visits, meetings or calls in the United Kingdom and 224 overseas

49 days were spent on official duties overseas

His Royal Highness carried out 22 Regional Visits in the UK during FY 2010/11, to locations including Aberdeenshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Clwyd, Derbyshire, Devon, Durham, Gloucestershire, Lanarkshire, Merseyside, Norfolk, North Yorkshire, Northamptonshire and West Midlands

Throughout the year The Duke undertook 195 London based trade engagements which included briefing meetings, round table discussions and dinners covering priority sectors for the UK. Recent sector focuses have been Heathcare, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Infrastructure, and Education
