Introduction
The Court Circular is the authoritative, historical record of official engagements of members of the Royal Family. It features details of places visited in the UK and overseas, duties undertaken, Royal audiences and meetings held by members of the Royal Family, ceremonies attended, and official Royal appointments.
An account of the previous day’s Royal engagements is printed daily in the British newspapers The Times, The Daily Telegraph and The Scotsman, as well as appearing online here.
You can use this archive to search through Court Circular documents dating back to January 1998.
How to search
Searches can be undertaken by member of the Royal Family, date range and keyword. A maximum number of 100 results will be returned; if your search returns the maximum number, you may need to narrow it down accordingly.
