Information for members of overseas media seeking to cover stories about the Royal Family

Foreign photographers, reporters and television crews who wish to cover Royal engagements in the UK, or who are researching documentaries or books on Royal subject matter should contact Buckingham Palace Press Office.

When media facilities are provided for foreign media during Royal engagements in the UK, they are not part of the Royal Rota.

Foreign media who want to cover major Royal ceremonial occasions should contact their umbrella organisation, such as the Foreign Press Association or the European Broadcasting Union, in the first instance.

Media facilities provided for foreign media at such occasions are arranged through the FPA, EBU, CPU and AACL, acting on their behalf in consultation with Buckingham Palace Press Office.
