Four historic bodyguards attend the Sovereign at ceremonial events: Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, the Yeomen of the Guard, the Yeomen Warders and the Royal Company of Archers. At events such as the State Opening of Parliament and State visits, a ceremonial bodyguard attends on the Sovereign.
