The Duke of York undertook engagements in Estonia on 1st June, 2016.
His Royal Highness started the day with a visit to the e-Estonia Showroom. The e-Estonia Showroom is the showcase for Estonia’s e-Government and the innovative e-solutions offered in Estonia. The Duke of York received a briefing on Estonia’s digital programmes.
His Royal Highness then met with Young Entrepreneurs at the Energy Centre. The students had taken part in Junior Achievement, the Estonia branch of Young Enterprise, and The Duke of York discussed their projects. His Royal Highness then met with British and Estonian Startups to discuss to develop more activity between the UK and Estonia.
The Duke of York hosted Pitch@Palace Estonia at Latitude59.
Pitch@Palace Estonia is part of Pitch@Palace Global which aims to bring together and showcase Entrepreneurs from a number of key markets. Pitch@Palace Estonia aimed to support Entrepreneurs, from, and connected to, Estonia with the amplification and acceleration of their business ideas.
