The Duke of York began official engagements in Papua New Guinea on 3rd July.
HRH laid a wreath at the Bomana War Cemetery. Later The Duke met staff who maintain the Cemetery.
Next, HRH visited the Don Bosco Technical Institute which opened in 1999 and specialises in Electrical Technology, Technical Drawing, Maintenance Fitting and Machining Technology. The college became a co-educational institution in 2001 and now has 600 students.
HRH attended a reception given by The Acting Governor of Papua New Guinea before attending a dinner hosted by The Hon. Peter O’Neill, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.
