The Duke of York visited Plumen and The Trampery on 24th May, 2016.
His Royal Highness visited Plumen, an energy efficient designer lighting company based in east London where The Duke received a briefing on the Plumen 003 prototype and filament LED lightbulbs and met the Plumen team. Launched in 2010, Plumen aims to combine creativity, technology, design and art.
HRH, Patron, then visited The Trampery Old Street. The Trampery operates 3 shared workspaces around London where creative and technology-focused Entrepreneurs work and share ideas. The Duke of York became Patron of The Trampery in 2013.
HRH visited The Drugstore Retail Lab, a co-working space for technology and retail Startups, and viewed product demonstrations from several Entrepreneurs based at the Lab.
