The Duke of York joined The Queen at a parade to mark the appointment of His Royal Highness as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. Her Majesty and The Duke of York were received in St. George’s Hall with a Royal Salute and His Royal Highness inspected the Parade before giving a short address. The Queen and The Duke of York afterwards attended a Reception in the Grand Reception Room where His Royal Highness met serving Grenadier Guards and their families.
