The Duke of York was made an Honorary Fellow, Hughes Hall on 1 May, 2018.
HRH was granted Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his work to support business and entrepreneurship through initiatives such as [email protected] Hughes Hall has a distinguished history of excellence in subjects such as Business and Economics. The shared interests of The Duke of York and the College will help forge new opportunities for students at the College over time.
During the visit, HRH had the opportunity to learn about Hughes Hall’s new flagship strategic initiative, The Bridge. The Bridge is designed to provide advice and guidance to researchers, from senior Fellows to students, who want to see their ideas and discoveries have real impact in the worlds of public policy, commerce, NGOs, charities and elsewhere. The Duke of York also met with students and staff and was given a tour of the new Study Centre.
