The Duke of York attended the opening of innovest unbound at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre. Innovfest unbound is the anchor event of Smart Nation Innovations Week. HRH introduced his work with [email protected] to the audience from across ASEAN ahead of a [email protected] Alumni Panel.
Later, The Duke of York had the opportunity to tour the innovfest Exhibition.
HRH then attended a Lunch hosted by Minister Iswaran, Minister for Communications and Information and Minister in Charge of Trade Relations, Singapore, with other Ministers from across ASEAN.
That afternoon, The Duke of York hosted [email protected] ASEAN 1.0. Opening remarks were made by Minister Putchucheary, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information and Ministry of Transport, His Royal Highness and Tony Fernandes, Founder, Air Asia.
18 Entrepreneurs had the opportunity to Pitch to an audience of investors, mentors and business executives. All of the Entrepreneurs competed in the [email protected] ASEAN 1.0 People’s Choice Award, a public vote hosted on the [email protected] website, with the winner announced at [email protected] ASEAN 1.0.
The Duke of York announced the results and the winners were:
1. Klean, Malaysia
2. Alchemy Foodtech, Singapore
3. Globish, Thailand
The winner of the [email protected] ASEAN 1.0 People’s Choice Award was GOFIT from Indonesia.
[email protected] ASEAN was visited with the support of AirAsia, IMDA and unbound.
Finally, His Royal Highness attended a dinner hosted by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew.
