Today, Tuesday 29th May 2018, The Duke of York visited Peking University where he was received by the President, Mr Lin Jianhua. HRH then opened the [email protected] China 2.0 Boot Camp where he welcomed the 42 Entrepreneurs to programme and into the [email protected] family.
“To me, every single one of you has won a place at the table, and are all part of my network. We are about creating value for all of you, in China, for China.”
The Duke then visited Peking University’s National School of Development and received a briefing on the school’s work. HRH then travelled to the KPMG Innovative Startup Centre to join the [email protected] Entrepreneurs. Here he met with a number of Chinese Unicorns, Entrepreneurs who have achieved significant growth and are valued at over 1 billion dollars.
Meeting with President Xi Jingping at the Great Hall of the People
In the afternoon, HRH met President Xi Jingping at the Great Hall of the People to discuss his commitment made to the President during his state visit to the UK in 2015 to develop the relationship between the UK and China with a specific focus on Entrepreneurship and Science.

Finally, The Duke of York attended a dinner hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs.
