The Duke of York opened the Maudsley Clinic, in Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday 4th October, 2017. The clinic provides mental healthcare services for adults and children, as well as being the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi.
The Maudsley Clinic is a joint venture between South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and MACANI Medical Center, based in Abu Dhabi.
HRH met with a patient of the children’s clinic before formally opening the adult clinic. The Duke of York spoke to staff members at the centre, where HRH was briefed about the work of Maudsley Health in Abu Dhabi and their work to promote speciality psychiatric care in the region.
