Princess Beatrice attended Oscar’s Book Prize on 23rd May, 2016.
Oscar’s Book Prize was set up in memory of Oscar Ashton, the son of Evening Standard columnist James Ashton, and pays tribute to Oscar’s love of stories.
Her Royal Highness was a Judge of the Prize in 2016 and said “I’m really excited to be involved as a judge for Oscar’s Book Prize. I’ve always loved picture books, so I’m looking forward to having a chance to review all the brilliant entries.”
Princess Beatrice presented Oscar’s Book Prize to Gemma Merino, who won the prize for her children’s book The Cow Who Climbed A Tree.
