As part of the Education World Forum last week, Princess Beatrice met the British Ambassador to Laos, Mr Hugh Evans and the Lao Ambassador to the UK, Mr Sayakane Sisouvong at Buckingham Palace.
The Princess visited Laos in October last year, where she paid visits to local schools, witnessed the opening of the new Lao Friends Hospital for Children and opened a renovated UXO Visitor Centre amongst other things. Princess Beatrice’ support for Laos indicates the strengthening bond between the two countries.
