The Duke of York, Patron, Harwell Campus, hosted a Reception at St. James’s Palace on 1st October, 2015.
The Harwell Campus is a world renowned Science and Innovation Campus managed by The Science and Technology Facilities Council. His Royal Highness has been Patron of the Campus since 2010.
The Reception was attended by scientists, CEOs and key influencers from British Business, Science and Technology sectors. They discussed the ongoing innovation and excellence of the research conducted at Harwell Campus.
The Duke said “If we want to be a prosperous country, we have an advantage in science and we can’t let it go” and that it is important to “commit to science, inspire young people and encourage other businesses to make use of the Harwell Campus.”
