Greenwich Hospital, Patron

Greenwich Hospital was established in 1694 for the relief and support of seamen who could no longer serve in the Royal Navy, and their dependent families. It does so today through the provision of charitable funds to support ex service personnel on a wider basis, assists with education (including the Royal Hospital School), and provides three sheltered housing schemes.
