Founded in 1921, the Lucifer Golfing Society was initially intended to be a small club with the principal aim of promoting goodwill through golf within the Commonwealth. Today, members come from around the UK and players from across the Commonwealth compete in an annual tournament.

Royal Thames Yacht Club, Commodore

Established in 1775, the Royal Thames Yacht Club provides its members with outstanding cruising, racing and social opportunities in the UK and internationally. The Club’s Charitable Trust provides annual bursaries of around £20,000 to provide the opportunity for younger people from modest backgrounds to experience the thrill and adventure of going to sea.

Royal Windsor Horse Show, Vice President

The Royal Windsor Horse Show is the United Kingdom’s largest outdoor horse show, taking place annually in the grounds of Windsor Castle. Founded in 1943 to help raise funds for the war effort, it has continued to run every year since and is currently the only show in the United Kingdom to host international competitions in Showjumping, Dressage, Driving and Endurance.

The Duke of York Young Champion’s Trophy, Patron and Co-founder

The Duke of York Young Champion’s Trophy offers a unique opportunity for under 18-year-old champions from around the world to compete for the Trophy whilst experiencing the challenges of a top UK links course. Supported by the R&A and their national affiliated organisations, this event also endeavours to encourage the advancement of junior golf in both established and developing golfing countries
