The Duke of York attended the Wayra DemoDay at the Wayra Academy, London on 4th December, 2014. Wayra is Telefonica’s Accelerator and is a key Partner in Pitch@Palace.
At the Wayra DemoDay, 25 start-ups pitched to an audience of investors and members of the business community. The event was also an opportunity to announce a new cohort of 31 start-ups. Each of the incoming teams will receive up to $60,000 in funding, office space and access to Telefonica’s leadership and mentor network.
Welcoming the Wayra 2015 start-ups, The Duke said “I wish you all every success. What you are doing is so innovative and fantastic!”
