Directed by Phillip Breen, with script by Tony nominated writer Mike Poulton, the critically acclaimed production is showing at York Minster in a strictly limited run until 30 June.

Ladder for the Black Country and Staffordshire: Duke of York give…

It started out with a challenge from the Duke of York to become a ‘local solution’ to the problem of youth unemployment across the region.

Now the Ladder campaigns – which have expanded to include the Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire – have led to the creation of more than 1,000 apprenticeships.

Representatives from the Express & Star and its partners, including the Vine Trust and Performance Through People (PTP), attended an event hosted by the Duke at St James’s Palace to mark the milestone.

Duke of York officially opens new KPMG office

KPMG’s new Leeds office in Sovereign Square has been officially opened by Prince Andrew after the Duke of York toured the building and spent time with employees, clients and local school pupils.

Watched by hundreds of KPMG partners, staff, members of the business community and public sector figures, the duke unveiled a commemorative plaque and spoke of his pleasure to be celebrating the investment in the city.

“I am impressed with this particular building as it is right for everyone to use together, in an efficient manner, communicating with one another, which raises productivity,” said Prince Andrew.
