Asia Society Dinner

The Duke of York held a dialogue for Asia Society at Buckingham Palace on 6th November, 2014 followed by a dinner that evening at St James’s Palace.

Asia Society was founded in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller 3rd and exists to promote understanding and the strengthening of links between Asia and the United States of America. Asia Society has recently developed a dialogue named as “The Rise of Asia and Our Shared Future.”

Dr Henry Kissinger, who was Honorary Chairman at the Asia Society 50th Anniversary Gala, posed the dialogue with three questions which were:

  • What are we observing?
  • What are we missing?
  • What do we need to do differently?

The event in London was the second part of the dialogue with the initial event taking place in New York City in October, 2014. The programme will continue during 2015 with a number of regional dialogues taking place across Asia.
